Job Description: 

We are seeking an experienced CFD Simulation Methods & Tools Developer to join our team. In this role, you will focus on enhancing and supporting our client’s OpenFOAM-based simulation processes. This position requires a deep understanding of simulation workflows, the ability to develop automated systems, and the skill to create complex, integrated workflows for advanced automotive simulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize OpenFOAM-based CFD simulation tools and methods.
  • Automate simulation workflows to streamline processes for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Couple different simulation tools to create complex, integrated workflows.
  • Understand and implement what aspects of the simulation process should be exposed to end users, and what should be automated or set up behind the scenes.
  • Work closely with the client to understand their specific needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in CFD simulation and OpenFOAM development.
  • Collaborate with a team of experts to deliver high-quality, reliable simulation solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong background in CFD, specifically with experience in OpenFOAM.
  • Proven experience in developing automation tools and complex simulation workflows.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Programming skills, preferably in languages relevant to CFD and simulation (e.g., Python, C++).
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Fluent in Czech or German languages.
