Job Description: 

We are currently seeking a Simulation System Performance Engineer with a strong background in software performance optimization, particularly in packaging, compiling, and installing Open-Source C++ tools. The ideal candidate will also possess proficiency in scripting languages, crucial for our simulation systems in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Profiling and optimizing existing CFD/CAE solvers to identify and address performance bottlenecks.
  • Packaging, compiling, and installing a variety of Open-Source C++ tools.
  • Developing and maintaining Bash and Python scripts to support simulation processes.
  • Implementing best practices for compilation and optimization to enhance tool performance.
  • Integrating and optimizing MPI systems for efficient parallel processing.
  • Managing and optimizing HPC cluster queuing systems (e.g., PBS Pro, SLURM).
  • Collaborating with development teams for continuous improvement of simulation systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in profiling and optimizing CFD/CAE solvers or similar complex software systems.
  • Proficiency in packaging, compiling, and installing Open-Source C++ tools.
  • Strong skills in scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with MPI system integration and HPC cluster management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Fluent in Czech or German languages.
