External aerodynamics simulation of a Race car for kids with iconPlatform

Our kids deserve the best, so even for race cars for kids at ICON we do our best to support designers and engineers in their quest to design the best products.
It’s been a pleasure to collaborate with Automobiles LEGLOIRE on their SP001 project.

The simulations have been generated using iconPlatform and the post-processing in Paraview from Kitware Inc.

F1 2022 New Generation Cars – More Overtaking – More Excitement!

Much has been claimed that with the new generation F1 cars it will be easier to overtake and that the regulations have been setup in such a way to minimize the aerodynamic loss experienced by the car following closely.

In this ICON Article we give a little insight into the flow topologies. We used the iconCFD® simulation software and performed an investigation of the performance loss in close proximity driving of the new generation F1 cars.
