ICON organized the 2009 Open Source CFD International Conference in Barcelona that brought together users, developers, academics and industry managers.
Key note addresses were provided by Will Schroeder of Kitware Inc. who discussed Scientific Computing with Open-Source Software, Dr. Moni Islam of AUDI AG who addressed the Application of OpenFOAM® Technology for Vehicle Aerodynamics Development and sharing the platform was ICON who presented its ICON FOAMpro: An Open Source CFD Support Service.
