Job Description:

We are seeking for CFD model preparation specialist to join our team. In this role, you will focus on preparation of geometric data from CAD to complex CFD models for automotive aerodynamic simulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creation and modification of 3D CAD geometry models
• Cleaning and healing of 3D CAD models to make them suitable for various CFD simulations
• CFD mesh generation using various meshing tools
• Geometry shape morphing for aerodynamic optimization
• Understand and implement mesh quality criteria for reliable CFD simulations
• Work closely with the client to understand their specific needs and tailor solutions accordingly
• Collaborate with a team of experts to deliver high-quality, reliable simulation solutions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or similar education in related field
• Background in CAD and 3D modelling in Catia, Rhinoceros, Blender, etc.
• Background in meshing tools e.g. ANSA, iconCFD Process, etc.
• Basic programming skills for process automation, preferably Python, will be an advantage
• High attention to detail and ability to deliver work on time and on required quality
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Fluent in Czech and ability to communicate in English
