ICON's Solution Package
ICON has recently introduced a complete turn-key software package - ICON FOAMpro, based upon open source technology. ICON FOAMpro significantly reduces the ownership and maintenance costs of customers’ CFD processes within their operations.
ICON FOAMpro is a customised CFD service package developed by ICON using open source technology. The service incorporates four major components:
- First class user support
- Graphical user interface for simple case set-up
- Advanced Cartesian hex-dominant parallel meshing with body fitted near wall layers
- Enhanced solution and analysis routines
ICON FOAMpro is provided as an annual subscription based on the total number of supported CFD users with no obligation to renew. With no licensed meshing and solver fees, ICON FOAMpro offers massive potential for cost savings and increased hardware scalability, reducing simulation times.

ICON hosts the annual Open Source CFD International Conference. The conference is aimed at users, developers, academics and industry managers who are using, programming and deploying open source CFD solutions.
