ICON proudly announces sponsorship of this year’s stage set at the 8th MIRA International Vehicle Aerodynamics Conference.
The trend towards lighter, sleeker vehicles creates a new set of challenges for the aerodynamic community, reflected in this year’s conference theme: “Low Carbon Vehicles” and the growing interest of industry and academia in open source CFD technologies. Icon has been training, supporting and developing processes for users in this area for over five years. A recent notable example is a custom CFD process developed and supported by Icon for The Volkswagen Group to support virtual design of its vehicles in the disciplines of aerodynamics, under-hood thermal management and climate control.
